HAHARUROT ang pinakamatitikas na moto riders ng bansa sa pagratsada ng local motocross racing — Round 1 at 2 – ng Namssa Philippine National Supercross Championships sa Nov. 10 sa Speedworld Circuit, sa SM Bicutan Open Grounds, sa Parañaque City.

Tampok ang mga champion racers na sina multi-titled Kenneth San Andres, Jethrick Marquez at Moymoy Flores, ang mga papasikat na riders mula sa Visayas at Mindanao sa karera na inorganisa ng National Motorcycle Sports Safety Association (NAMSSA).

Ang opening round ay magsisilbing tune up races para sa FIM Asia Supercross Championship na nakatakda sa Nov. 21-24 tampok ang mga pambatong riders mula sa Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, India, China, Sri Lanka at Philippines.

Itinataguyod ang karera ng Foilacar, Karcher, Monark Cat, Shell Advance, Shell V-Power, SM Bicutan, ICTSI, Maynilad, Asia Brewery, KYT, Alpinestar, Partas Bus, YSS, Shakey’s at 4 BROS Racing.

Ang National Motocross Championship at FIM Asia Supercross Championship ay itinataguyod ni NAMSSA at FIM Asia President Stephan “Macky” Carapiet.

“The Supercross track in Manila is of international standards and surely, the FIM championship will be the most exciting motorsports’ event to hit Manila this year, with high thrilling jumps and aerial maneuvers from the top Asian MX riders,” pahayag ni Carapiet.

Ang dalawang torneo ay inorganisa rin ng NAMSSA, ang tanging governing body para sa two-wheel motorsports sa bansa, at kinikilala ng Philippine Olympic Committee, FIM Asia at Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme of Suisse.

“It will be a fierce battle for Asian supremacy and bragging rights. Motocross enthusiasts will be in for a treat,” pahayag ni Carapiet.

“Everything is set. The riders are all excited. Everyone’s raring to give motocross fans a competition to remember,” aniya.

Ang pagsikad ng Pinoy riders sa Asya at sa mundo ay bunga ng programa ng NAMSSA National Sports Development.
