Nagbabala ang Department of Health (DOH) sa kumakalat na email kung saan ginagamit ang kanilang ahensya para makapanloko ng mga health worker.

Ayon sa DOH, may gumagamit ng email address na doh@doh.com, kung saan pinagrerehistro umano ang mga health frontliner para sa COVID-19 benefit package.

Paliwanag ng DOH, hindi sila nagpapadala ng email tungkol sa mga benepisyo.

“While there are existing benefit packages for healthcare workers, DOH will not send individual emails to sign up for these,” paliwanag ng kagawaran.

“The DOH nor the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases did not send any email urging all healthcare and hospital workers to register to receive a COVID-19 benefit package,” saad pa.

Klinaro din ng DOH na hindi totoo ang DOH-IATF COVID Task Force National Center for Health na ginamit sa email.

Peke rin ang website na nakalagay sa naturang email at hindi ito kinikilala ng DOH.

“We urge the public to be more vigilant against fraudulent emails and to trust only verified information from reputable sources, such as the DOH Facebook page and website,” saad pa ng ahensya.
