Nakakuha ang Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ng “Unqualified Opinion” na siyang pinakamataas na audit rating mula sa Commission on Audit (COA).

“In our opinion, the consolidated financial statements present fairly m, in all materials respects, the consolidated financia position of the OWWA as at December 31,2020, and its consolidated financial performance, consolidated changes in net assets/equity, consolidated cash flows, comparison of budget and actual amounts, and notes to consolidated financial statements for the year then ended in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) with corresponding Philippine Application Guidance (PAG)” saad ng ahensya sa liham nila kela OWWA Secretary Silvestre Bello III at OWWA Administrator Hans Cacdac.

“Glad to report that the Commission on Audit gave the OWWA an Unqualified Opinion re the COA Audit of P8.9B expenditures for FY 2020,” aniya.

“Credit goes to our finance teams, especially our frontliners who pour over thousands upon thousands of billings and statements of account,” sambit pa niya.

Nito lamang Martes nang ibalitang nasa 641,717 overseas Filipino workers na ang napauwi nila sa bansa simula nang nagkaroon ng pandemya.

Bukod sa OWWA, nitong unang linggo lang din ng Agosto nang makakuha ng “Unqualified Opinion” rating ang Department of Tourism sa ikalawang pagkakataon.
