Kinalma ng Meralco ang mga Pinoy fan ni Taylor Swift dahil hindi umano makabubuti sa mga bayarin sa kuryente ang paggaya sa eksenang ‘we’re dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light.’

Ang nabanggit na eksena ay mula sa lyrics ng kantang ‘All Too Well’ ni Taylor Swift, na ginawan ng short film at ngayo’y namamayagpag sa YouTube.

Sa naturang eksena, ang bidang couple ay sumasayaw sa harap ng nakabukas na refrigerator.

Romantic man kung tutuusin, inawat ng Meralco ang mga gustong gumaya sa eksena dahil tiyak na tataas umano ang bill nila sa kuryente.

“Fellow Swifties, while it’s romantic to dance around the kitchen, if you leave your refrigerator door open and dance to its light, it would cost P9.79/day,” saad sa Facebook post ng Meralco.

Sa halip umano na sa harap ng nakabukas na refrigerator ay sumayaw na lamang sa harap ng ilaw ng Christmas light.

“But wouldn’t it be better to dance beside Christmas tree lights kahit all-night slow dancing pa yan, which will cost around P0.30/hour*?” saad pa nito.
