Century Tuna, Ligo sanib-puwersa

Binili ng canned at processed food giant Century Pacific Food Inc. ang kilalang brand ng sardinas na Ligo.

Sa pagsisiwalat sa Philippine Stock Exchange, sinabi ng Century Pacific na bibilhin nito ang mga asset at intellectual property na may koneksyon sa manufacturing ng mga produkto ng Ligo.

“Ligo is a leading brand in the sardine category. Ligo will be highly synergistic with the rest of our shelf stable marine products. We are deeply humbled that the Tung family has entrusted this brand to our company, and we shall do our utmost to honor this legacy brand and continue its heritage,” saad ni Christopher Po, executive chairman ng Century Pacific.

Ilan sa kilalang produkto ng Century Pacific ang Century Tuna, 555, Blue Bay at Fresca.
