Humingi ng paumanhin ang Berjaya Makati Hotel dahil sa kabiguang maharang ang guest na umalis sa quarantine para dumalo sa isang party, na lumabas na positibo pala sa COVID-19.
“Berjaya Makati Hotel confirms the recent reports concerning one of its guests who violated government imposed quarantine protocols by prematurely departing from quarantine before having been tested. She was reported to have attended a party.
“The Management sincerely apologizes for failing to stop the guest from jumping her quarantine. This was only incident of its kind in the nearly two years that we have served as a quarantine hotel, and we will make sure that it is the last,” saad ng nasabing hotel sa inilabas na statement.
Sa ngayon anila ay nakikipagtulungan sila sa mga ahensiya ng gobyerno na nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon.
Matatandaang sinabi ng Department of the Interior and Local Government noong Dec. 30, 2021 na 15 katao ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 matapos tumakas ang isang Gwyneth Chua sa hotel quarantine.
Kinumpirma ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año sa panayam sa radyo na lumabas ng kanyang hotel si Chua kahit naka-mandatory quarantine para makipag-dinner sa isang restaurant.
