Pilipinas ang pang-anim sa mga bansa sa mundo na pinakamaingay mag-post tungkol sa gaming, ayon sa tala ng social media site na Twitter para sa taong 2021.

Ang nasa top five naman ay ang Japan, US, South Korea, Thailand at Brazil.

Ang pang-pito hanggang pang-10 na pwesto ay nakuha ng Indonesia, UK, France at India.

Batay sa tala ng Twitter, umabot sa 2.4 bilyon ang mga tweet tungkol sa gaming para sa taong 2021. Tumataas din umano ng 14% ang bilang ng mga tweet tungkol sa gaming at esports bawat taon.

“As we continue adjusting to life in the middle of a pandemic, people are finding new ways to make connections with various communities, and one of them is through gaming. The growing conversations that happened around gaming on Twitter reflect the increasing attention from the public on Twitter about various games, esports teams, and gaming personalities,” pahayag ni Maurizio Barbieri Head of Sports & Gaming Partnerships for SEA and Greater China ng Twitter.

Sa Pilipinas, ang Genshin Impact ang pinaka-na-tweet na laro, sinundan ng Valorant, League of Legends at Minecraft.

Ang pinaka-na-tweet naman na esports team ay Team Secret, OG Esports, T1 Esports, Sentinels at G2 Esports. (MJD)
