Robert Ace Barbers, inimbitahan sa pagdinig sina Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla, PNP Chief Maj. Gen. Benjamin Acorda, retired P/Gen.
Gen. Benjamin Santos Jr. dating Deputy Chief PNP for Operations; Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo, direktor ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG); Col. Julian Olonan, hepe ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) Special Operations Unit (SOU) Region 4A at Capt. Jonathan Sosongco, hepe ng PDEG SOU 4A arresting team.
Ipinatawag din sa pagdinig sina Lt. Col. Arnulfo Ibañez, OIC ng PDEG SOU National Capital Region (NCR); Maj. Michael Angelo Salmingo, deputy ng PDEG SOU NCR; Lt. Col. Glenn Gonzales ng Quezon City Police District; Lt. Ashrap Amerol, intelligence officer ng PDEG Intelligence and Foreign Liaison Division; Lt. Col. Harry Lorenzo, hepe ng Manila Police District Moriones Station at Captain Randolph Piñon, hepe ng DEG SOU 4A Intelligence Section.
“And based on documents, police reports, video footages and TV interviews by police officers involved in the case, we have noticed irreconcilable inconsistencies on their narrative of the incident, particularly the narrative that Sgt. Mayo was arrested in a buy-bust operation at 9pm of October 8, 2022 for possession of two kilos of shabu,” sabi ni Barbers.
“We have not heard or seen any details of his administrative and criminal cases. What about the other officers who we believe participated in the alleged double cover up and double recycling attempts in said incident,” sabi ni Barbers.
“The most significant information to attain this objective is to determine the source or sources of the recycled drugs, how were they obtained, and who are the illegal participants in this illegal activity,” dagdag pa ni Barbers.
(Billy Begas)
