Umaasa si Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez na lalo pang lalim at magiging mas makahulugan ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at United Kingdom.

Ginawa ni Romualdez ang pahayag matapos na saksihan ang koronasyon ni King Charles III at Queen Camila.

“We are deeply honored to be witnesses to an event that is a rare piece of world history, and we pray for a deeper and more meaningful relationship between the Philippines and the United Kingdom for years to come,” sabi ni Romualdez.

Si Romualdez ay bahagi ng delegasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na dumating sa London isang araw bago ang koronasyon.

“And may your reign also bring people together, provide prosperity to all of your subjects and inspire divine guidance to your rule. Congratulations to the new monarchs of the United Kingdom!” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.

Ginamit nina Marcos, Romualdez at iba pang opisyal na kanilang kasama ang oportunidad upang masuri ang London Gatwick Airport at ang sistema na kanilang ginagamit sa mga dumarating na turista upang makakuha ng ideya para sa pagpapaganda ng mga paliparan sa Pilipinas. (Billy Begas)
